Join Barbara for the morning as we focus on key navigation skills. The session will be ideal for new orienteers or anyone looking to learn or refresh key skills for forest navigation.
The session will be practical. We will get out on the trails and in the forest as we learn to apply navigation techniques.
So come prepared with comfortable clothing and shoes for the trails. If you have a compass, bring it along (if not we have a supply of different brands for loan that you are welcome to borrow and trial for the morning).
Note that we have plenty of Str8 thumb compasses in stock if you would like to purchase one.
Morning tea and a drink are also recommended.
If the day is wet, this session will still run, so bring some wet weather gear or dry clothes to change into.
We recommend a minimum age of 10 years.
